WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

For the Wedding day, our dress code is black‑tie formal. Please refrain from wearing black or white for both men and women. Think vibrant jewel tones, pastels, metallics, or any hue that dazzles. We encourage you to wear the dress or suit you’ve always wanted to wear—this is your chance to shine. For our Welcome Party, our dress code is Western cocktail attire. Please wear polished western-inspired looks—think dress shirts, blazers, boots, dresses or skirts with western details, and tasteful accessories—come ready to party Texas style. See the Attire tab for further details and outfit inspo!

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Well, it is Texas—Mother Nature can surprise us. But, we expect low–mid 80s°F. The ceremony will be held outdoors and begin after 5:00 PM, so we'll avoid the hottest part of the day.

WHICH SIDE SHOULD I SIT ON DURING THE CEREMONY?

We ask that you pick a seat, not a side!

WHAT IS THE TEA CEREMONY?

The tea ceremony is a traditional ritual that is an integral part of Chinese weddings. It symbolizes respect and gratitude, formally introducing the bride and groom to their families. During the ceremony, the bride and groom serve tea to their parents, grandparents, and other significant family members to show respect and appreciation. In return, the elders often present gifts, such as jewelry or red envelopes containing money, symbolizing blessings for the couple’s future together. Tea symbolizes purity, stability, and fertility in Chinese culture, representing family hospitality and bond. This ceremony is a meaningful tradition that strengthens familial bonds and upholds cultural heritage.

Where do I stay?

We’ve reserved a room block at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort under “Cassidy‑Wong Wedding.” If that option doesn’t suit your plans, there are plenty of nearby hotels and other accommodations. See the Travel tab for details.

Is there parking?

For our out-of-town guests staying overnight, complimentary valet parking is available—courtesy of the special couple! Self-parking is also complimentary for all wedding guests.

WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?

We’re delighted to invite you to begin celebrating with us a day early! Feel free to arrive at your convenience, as per your travel plans. We are offering a Welcome Party the evening before the wedding; it’s the perfect occasion to mingle, enjoy light bites and drinks, and—most importantly—finally catch a moment with us!
